Artist/Band Profile: Beholder is a one man band that makes progressive metal songs with primarily black metal influences. I am mostly influenced by Opeth, Enslaved, Katatonia, and in smaller ways by bands such as Emperor, Arcturus, Mastodon, Borknagar, Ulver, Meshuggah, Keep Of Kalessin, Akercocke, etc... I have been playing the electric guitar for almost 3 years, and everything you hear in my songs is played on an electric guitar (including bass-like and keyboard-like sounds), except for the drums of course. I have recently completed my first short CD (19+ minutes), which you can download at www.blastmymusic.com/beholder (check out my links page). You can also add me on myspace at www.myspace.com/beholder1987, and listen to my most recent work. Well, there's not much more to say, I also started playing the piano recently and I'm trying to learn how to sing, so that I can make my music more interesting, but I still have much to learn and to do.
