Profile

Artist/Band Profile: The talent of producer Marc Burns, a.k.a Goldlust, was first “spotted” last year by the BBC’s OneMusic team. Placed in the Top 5 on the Pete Tong demo chart and short listed for airplay, Goldlust was described thus:

“Damn good house music from Goldlust! It's got everything that it should, the only bad thing is that it's not on the streets for the public to buy - so remedy that and get down to the pressing plant. Solid!"

Goldlust tracks have so far appeared on compilation CDs including “New Sound Theory 2 & 3” through BasicLux records from Atlanta, Georgia and “Global Chilled 1 & 2” by Raw42 Music. Goldlust’s first 12-inch release – “The Most Beautiful” – was released through Italy’s Digital Imprint Records in November 2003. An ambient remix of another Goldlust track, “The World is Our Own”, was also recently used as the soundtrack to a high profile TV commercial for “Simple Regeneration” moisturiser. Aired across the UK and Ireland.
