Samarah’s diverse sound has been compared to Mira Calix, Mum and Tricky, but it's strong streak of originality makes comparisons difficult. She embraces digital songwriting but does not limit herself to keyboards and computers. She weaves samples of fluttering pianos, music boxes, chimes, radios and cutlery into minimal, elegant arrangements. The end result is an invitation into Samarah’s futuristic and idyllic micro world of unconventional sonic beauty.
