Finally set up my
Niche Work CD for online purchase! I know a couple of you guys have already got a copy b/c we spoke in private, but it's officially available for anyone who wants it!
Alchemically speaking,
Niche Work is a means of summoning, mastering and defeating the force that keeps you at a distance from your life's true work, the thing that you are meant to do with all of your skills and talents during each and every moment you spend on this earth. It's the thing that no one but you is able to do.
And for those of you who are new to the Reconsiderate sound, it typically sounds a bit like Bjork and John Linnell (from They Might Be Giants) got together and reproduced, but their love child was orphaned in a horrible accident, and then got picked up & raised by Tool. It's composed on the computer, and often is loop-based. Some songs are instrumental, and others have lyrics. In the ones that have lyrics, the words are delivered in a half-spoken / half-sung style. Generally, the songs tend toward the intense, confrontational and thought provoking.
