Sonoprint (formerly Wordtexture) - is composed of three members now living in Portland, OR - Seattle, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID. We have played, recorded and performed together since 1994. Sonoprint is a brand new project renewing our roots and expanding our work electronically. Sonoprint projects are layered with live instruments, loops, soundfont midi and effected vocals in some cases. The goal is to make the non-musical sounds of ambient soundscapes and circuit bending sound musical generally through multiple looping, sound effects and layers of synth beds over simple beats.

Later electronic and indie influences include but are not limited to: Hypo/Luxa/Pan, Lauri des Marais, Jan Jelinek, Ian Nagoski, Frank Bretschnider, Omnimotion, Einsturzende Neubauten, Aphex Twin, Underworld, Moments of Clarity, Gregorian and Tibetian vocals.
