Based on melodies from "Night on Mount Bonnell" with many added counter melodies and overall written as a "waltz".

Synth was played "live" the "stab" is cause by hand tweaking the cutoff on a Yamaha Rm1x seqeuncer, which was actually running 3 of the same sequence in different "phases" so they interacted. The "stab" just caused emphasis in the seqeunce--overall an experiment in minimalism

Enjoy... still a WIP

I have wanted to revisit for quite some time. I have added about 5 new synth lines and remasted off of the original mp3.com cd. I do recommend listening with headphones, maybe even in the dark, I _DO_NOT_ recommend listening to this song if you are at all depressed as the content is exteremely heavy--this song and the original poem it was created from still haunt me to this day... Since I "dusted" off FWD Newfoundland per a request about ever finishing the remix, I decided to "play" with it again :) using a lot of new things from FL Studio and Morphine. This time I finally figured out the last seqence, I only had wavs from his original remix pack. This origina Credits: Fouier Wave Device original composition for Newfoundland, Wintermute: Iceland.

I do not think the original is still here at ES, but if you can find his original, you should ;) FWD is only the 2nd remix I have ever done, the other was LP's "Kitchen Sync" At about 4 mins in, I break into counter/complementry composition which later became my "Iceland" enjoy... All you here save the drums are from morphine: Pads, bells, 303ish lines, Basses, etc. All notes generated were laid out by me, I am not using any looping features or gates. I tried to keep the fx within the realms of FL Studio, except I do use LUXONIX LFX1310 which is a freely available FX VST. All drums samples are all from FL Studio.

This song blends Holst's "Mars Bringer of War" and the Trance classic Energy52's "Cafe Del Mar" ala Wintermute "Future Trance" style. This mix is an earlier slightly less complex more complete mix

This song blends Holst's "Mars Bringer of War" and the Trance classic Energy 52's "Cafe Del Mar" ala Wintermute "Future Trance" style. At somepoint, I want to add in the climax of "Mars" toward the middle or near the end. This will be a DJ intro song, probably on CF DSK 1
