It was a cool experience. I always wonder if the bird we helped ever flies by. Yeah, they can get loud - especially when they're flying in a flock. You should check out this film called "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill," I think you might like it. www.wildparrotsfilm.com

San Diego has wild parrots - A flock flew over our house as a hawk flew by and possibly injured one. We found one in a tree outside our house, seemed in shock. We caught it to make sure it was ok, then set it free he next AM when the flock returned.
