Review: With a title "Stretch like a cat" i should have known what to expect, hehe... But i did'nt and was immediately sucked into this hypnotic, crazy groove by the female voice pronouncing the aforementioned words. The beat is scanty and light, most prominent is the hi-hat, the kick only enters later on, as far as i can tell, and there are no chords whatsoever. But i love the timbres & rythms employed in this one. This music comes across as being Old School and innovative at the same time? Love the synth figures and the main "melody" that bends out of shape so nervwreckingly often. The changes before 2" are cool and keep the track fresh and interesting. The lady then returns just to say "Again" and we are once more put into a full "Techno" swing again, or at least M.C.'s version of Techno. This is great and the humour & playfullness transcribed through the music are what keep this track from becoming just plain silly. Check:D
