Song Description
This song is featured on a compilation titled "Wood: Choice Cuts", released by Tar Media and dDrecords. A slow groove consisting of mainly piano and guitar, this track flows lovely. Burn one down and bob your head. The second part is a bubbling dub that flips into double time.

The thing that kept this track from going over the top was it's lack of definite groove. The beat was not regular enough (in the first half) to get your head bopping - a deep walking bass line could have substituted for it but that was also missing. It just needed a bit more to be a really groovey downtempo track. Maybe a little more low end in the second half would have helped too. That being said, the track is still great, especially Latenight. The synth melody in Latenight was genius, really gives the track a distinct flavour. Breaking into double time was a great choice during Latenight. All in all, a good track that just needed a little more to put it over the top.

This fits perfectly in downtempo. I really like the piano chord progression, along with the beat. Mixed extremely well with the voices and the scratches, was that done professionally or with wavs? Around 3:40 beat speeds up, hard to pull off and make it sound good at the same time, but so far it's sounds great.
Is this a different song at 4:50? The transition is a little abrupt with the introduction of the chords, but it works nonetheless. I'd say maybe turn the synths down a tad and let the piano come over it.
6:00 and I'm still interested, this is definitly going on my chill playlist! :)
I'd say that this song is absolutely worth listening to!
