Song Description
Inspired by US involvment in Iraq. The title is somewhat of a double-entendre. The "Kingdom" is both the US and Iraq in the way that both--as well as most civilized countries--are more "brittle" than one would think. In no way is this song dis-respectful of our troops or Iraq, it is an homage to their spirit and the spirit of their families. The "playful" and laidback nature of the song (the sounds of summer and sea) is in reference to the better days that hopefully await them at home... |
