Ever since I first saw the news on Yahoo, I have needed to express how empty the Viriginia Tech killings made me feel. 32 need-less deaths of students and teachers is hard enough, but in light Iraq, Darfur, it becomes almost unbearable--our country has so much we take for granted. Even though the composition reflects how events unfolded that fateful day, this piece is mostly made to let people feel. As this is a "rest"/mass, the number is 32 with no regard for Cho.
