Song Lyrics
What is a song, is it just its pattern(themes) when does it stop being a song--how many themes can be built from one riff/vamp/theme? This series explores this an more--think Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells"

This song cycle also plays with word "Pattern" as it can be musically related--sequencers typically allow you to create, store and playback "Patterns" and as the conotation we are more familar with--a recognizable collection of like things. Of course it also references William Gibsons first book of his most recent Series--"Pattern Recognition", "Spook Country" in which he explore the future in our present... Another aside is the whole cycle is packed with sounds and patterns from other past Wintermute songs--how many can you recognize? ;)
