Song Description
This song came together quite nicely. The lyrics have some rather complex ideas... basically, people who want to destroy the environment are going to do so as far as they can get away with, within the boundaries set by environmentalists. Essentially this means whittling away at world species.

Song Lyrics
Come Spring gonna rainstorm
Willpower and a brainstorm
We came from the Earth and cars
Ten trees and a flower
Buckwheat for the power
Take a look at our life on Mars

We controlled the Earth, controlled the sun
Knowledge is shot
What once was life and now is gone
Is what we've got
Our bricks and stones sink deeper yet
Into the ground
Our country club of dogs and cats
And human crowned

This sand is our faces
All things in their places
We came from the Earth and cars
Our dreams came to pass through
Our womb to create you
Welcome to your life on Mars

Review: Excellent work..!! Best track so far. Love the vocals. Abstracted, dissonant and atonal co-existing perfectly with the tightness of the backup beats and grooves.

Review: Ok this is just one of those songs that just "work" in every respect. I can't help but feel a strong Bowie influence in both the overall theme and the progressions. At first I thought one of the "weaker" points of the production was the vocals, but they very quickly grew on me, in fact I think they really make the song :). Where this song really shines IMHO is in the music itself. Both in backing music and lyrics there is a constant progression from minimal to more complex and back??complexity within simplicity"... As I said the progressions are very "Bowie" like and have a very nice and complex "richness" to them. The lyrics themselves are clever and again reflect the theme: "complexity within simplicity". Lastly there are "hooks" that don't seem like hooks--brilliant. This one is a real keeper
