I previously stated that I was going to post here from the ETech Conference, which is going on here in San Diego, but my horribly old laptop decided it would not boot. After many attempts... it finally booted up, only to inform me that I had 10% battery life left. Thus the lack of posts from the show. Uhg!
So - about the show :)
In a word, 'motivating.'

I've really enjoyed talking to so many people, on such a wide range of technology topics. For example, today at lunch, I sat down at a table with Jeff Han, who has an insanely impressive portfolio of projects . Jeff presented on Tuesday,

The O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference announced that they've sold out the show. I was trying to locate more information on this, in particular, what the capacity of the show is, but they don't have that information posted on the site. Although, in the Exhibitor Prospectus, they state an expected attendance of 800+.
Another bit of information I found in the Prospectus that was interesting, was the attendee profile - which is a chart illustrating the various expected populations at the show. I hope O'Reilly doesn't mind that I took a screenshot of this chart to post here.
