Abstract Ambient From the first cracked notes of "Caught in a Bird Trap," it's clear the second EP from Chris Jones' Surplus of 1 has your worst interests at heart. At once more damaged and more evolved than the inaugural EP, " Regrets" is the sound of one man's journey through the lonliest, most fascinating corners of the digital wastelands. Abstract Ambient For most of its decade-long existence, Friendly Psychics Music has hidden a secret in Chris Jones, the label's co-founder, bass player and occasional lyricist and artist.
