In addition to Jazz Fusion, his styles cover Orchestral, Piano & Orchestra & New Age music. He has more recently been awarded a nomination for "Best Instrumental Song of The Year" in the "2006 JPF Music Competition" and continues working with independant film makers composing music for soundtracks. He has a new Jazz Fusion CD due out very soon which once completed will be his 6th album release. Dan Pinto(About his music):A Pianist at heart, Dan Pinto's music stems from the piano and branches out into many directions. Motion picture soundtrack and orchestral arrangement is a very big influence but at the same time his roots are in the older progressive rock keyboard groups from the late 60's and early 70's. Sprinkle in more modern Jazz fusion such as Pat Methany with Lyle Mays and add a dash of Dixie Dreggs and you've got a combination that makes for some interesting listening. It would be difficult to encompass Dan Pinto's abilities in the field of composing music by listening to a single or even a few of his works. Only a very small sample is demonstrated below here in the form of one of his soundtrack clips. So it is suggested that you visit his official website at the link shown above or below to gain the proper perspective on just what his music has in store for your ears! [ | ||
