"For those of you paying attention, I'm borderline obsessesed with Mike Lee's work as Letting Up Despite Great Faults. Now, it's easy to see this as throwing buckets of chum to the hype sharks, especially considering that this is only his fifth song recorded under that name and their live shows have been few and far between, but, here at Robots we're all about potential. Mike has nothing but. Now, armed with a full band (including programmer and cellist), things are only going to get better. I love the understated vocals, the crisp hush of the classical guitar, and muffled whump of the bass kick. It's similar in scope and style to his earlier work, but brings it all together.
