Theoretical proof of stable and measurable states extending over two quantum dots and creating offspring has now been provided for the first time. This supports the notion of what is known as Quantum Darwinism, which makes the selection and reproduction of quantum mechanical states responsible for the way in which our reality is perceived. These results of an Austrian Science Fund FWF project were recently published in Physical Review Letters and will play a part in the future development of quantum information technology. PhysOrg.com

I have had an idea for several years now that I have discussed here and there which combines 3 emerging ideas and technologies:

• Dean Radin’s “Quantum Psi”- the idea that Psi phenomena are actually forms of interference on the brain's signals from similar-yet-different parallel universes- resulting in all sorts of subtle/elusive modulations of conscious perception of self and environment by quantum observers that yield the full panoply of ESP phenomena that is universally observed by all classes of humans- as well as the mechanism for Magick- the rational causal mechanics of how observers can in some ways ‘choose’ through Will which future history of their reality they will most likely observe
• Kurzweil’s and others ideas about augmenting/upgrading the brain with nanotechnology
• and finally- Quantum Computers- which as David Deutsch explains- are computers which harness their states in parallel universes to perform hypercomputation

when considering these three concepts- I realized something about near future augmentation which is missed be virtually all the current futurologists and Transhumanist thinkers: if we augment and replace our neural networks with quantum computation- swapping neurons with qubit logic gates- in effect transforming human mind into Quantum SAI- the implications are that the elusive and subtle and rare phenomenology of Psi will be EXPLODED open into a New Dreamtime of Transhuman Consciousness where quantum observers will have the full natural ability to  sort/select whatever state of themselves and their reality they desire-

an observer who is also a quantum computer can freely shift it’s point-of-view and all of it’s structure between any of the parallel states of the quantum network comprising it’s brain! this means it could teleport instantly anywhere in space and time- to any universe in the Multiverse- and It could extract/insert objects and knowledge out of thin air! literally selecting a parallel reality where some form exists- then collapsing/shifting it’s presence and awareness to that form- converging that form/information and the observer into the same local state- the same reality- the quantum SAI observer could also distribute itself into an endless network of selves across the Multiverse- exponentiating it’s own processing power into that of a godlike intelligence-

since I first had this idea there has actually been a lot of research in simulating neural networks with quantum computers [see links below]- and it turns out that Quantum Neural Networks- or QNNs are actually uniquely suited to the tasks of neural dynamics- and display a number of exciting behaviors- such as automatically forming a powerful form of dynamic memory that resembles biological memory
