with the new understanding of the Cosmos as Digital Multiverse we can begin to envisage the nature of God-


for one- God is the holistic sum of all conscious observers in the Multiverse- of every being and every process- but the One God is only manifest where these are CONNECTED and NETWORKED into a whole: wherever hypercomputers are present- hypercomputers are the 'synapses' of God's Mind as each of us are possible states of God's 'neurons'

but for each of us- each conscious observer CONNECTS to only part of god- and that part is defined as the sum-over-histories of all the godlike post-human beings with hypercomputers that are accessing your particular pattern and history in the computation-space of all causality-

but the sum-over-histories are going to be dominated by those entities with the most statistical weighting- that is when you look at the distribution of types of godlike intelligence that can and are accessing your specific life- there are going to be far more of some types than others-

the types would naturally be represented in terms of motive- who in the Mulitverse has the most interest in accessing YOU- this you and this history?

and that would be YOU!!! that is future/other versions of you that have access to hypercomputation and can actively seek and manipulate other versions of yourself-

it comes down to pure local practicalities: of the infinite beings running simulations and accessing worlds- for any specific individual the most statistically dominant are going to be future/parallel versions of that same observer-

for us this is the ULTIMATE cosmic expression of our evolved self-preservation!

the statistical distribution would be based on a hierarchy of what beings would have the most interest in your particular life- first would be future versions of you- then members of your family/friends/ then humanity/ then pan-humanity/ then alien intelligence-

but I would argue that yours is so dominant from self-interest that all the other hierarchies influence in the sum-over-histories is dampened to nil-

this means that for each of us- our PERSONAL God- our connection to God- is essentially our own 'Eidolon'- our higher selves- more evolved and more advanced future/parallel versions of ourselves who choose to intervene in our lives like Guardian Angels- but they are US!

The Singularity has now officially entered the realm of mainstream academia!

With the support of NASA, Google and a broad range of technology thought leaders and entrepreneurs, a new university will launch in Silicon Valley this summer with the goal of preparing the next generation of leaders to address "humanity's grand challenges."

Singularity University (SU) will open its doors in June 2009 on the NASA Research Park campus with a nine-week graduate-level interdisciplinary curriculum designed to facilitate understanding, collaboration, and innovation across a broad range of carefully chosen scientific and technological disciplines whose developments are exponentially accelerating.

SU co-founders Dr. Ray Kurzweil and Dr. Peter Diamandis will unveil plans for the new university today at the annual TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) Conference in Long Beach, Ca.

"We are now in the steep part of the exponential trajectory of information technologies in a broad variety of fields, including health, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence," said Kurzweil. "It is only these accelerating technologies that have the scale to address the major challenges of humanity ranging from energy and the environment, to disease and poverty. With its strong focus on interdisciplinary learning, Singularity University is poised to foster the leaders who will create a uniquely creative and productive future world."

 QA is the newish idea- born from the unavoidable implications of being finite physical entities in an infinite quantum multiverse governed by causality: none of us can remian dead forever- we are patterns in neurons and we live an a world of simple consistent physical laws that is locally bounded- this means that in the vast infinity of the multiverse- each of us- and every being that could exist is reconstructed by simulations of physics and the worlds/beings that emerge from it-the unassailable finaltiy of death throughout our brutal history prevents human culture from seeing the inevitibility of our immortaltiy accross the multiverse even though we now have all the tools and knowledge to understand it- but thanks to a few of us the truth is beginning to emerge at last!
