This definitely captures the feel of "going nowhere." It is not necessarily down-hearted--and going nowhere isn't necessarily a bad thing. Nor is it too upbeat, because then it would be going somewhere. The song is simple, gets the point across. Gerard pulls a lot of the same tricks as he does in his other songs, so the creativity is not very high; but in this particular case the tricks work quite well, better than his other songs. It is monotonous, but some people like monotonous songs sometimes, myself included. Thumbs up for this one.

This style could grow on me--it's very "pure". That is, the instruments are not heavily modified or distorted or suped up with effects. I would like to encourage Tecknixia to produce more music! This music is quite simple and happy... the earlier stuff is less technically and theoretically advanced (to some extent with the exception of "The Wonder of it All") compared to these latest two--which is why I want to hear more.

It's really amazing when you have a song this chaotic and there's not a single missed note. Everything fits perfectly. It opens up nicely then falls into a groove that carries straight through to the end. Worth a download!

This song starts off with a fresh bass... closer to the standard Trance that you hear on the radio. Then it bleeds into that flanged Wintermute sound. Good track.

It certainly is jazzy, and very good too. Very complex chords going on here, full of soul. I love when the 303-like thing comes in around 3:19, it darkens the tone and grounds the song. This song is full of intricate happenings and is definitely worth a listen. Or a download.
