1. Mp3 Music Hosting: Each account comes with either a specified number of songs that can be uploaded. Each song you upload can be up to 20MB in size. We may support the Ogg format at a later date.
2. Media/Graphics/Video - File Storage Space: With each Account, you will have an Admin interface to upload various media types from images to Flash files to RealMedia files or even various video file formats. NOTE: this is in 'addition' to your track storage quantity - it is separate storage for uploaded files.
3. Supported Mp3 Bit Rates: Depending on which package you sign up for, you will have the ability to upload mp3s of various bit rates. The Freeware account is limited to the 'standard' types: 96 and 128 kbps. If you are a paying member (Level 1 or higher), you will be allowed to upload higher and lower quality mp3s by choice. We support: 96, 128, 160, 192, 256, 320 kbps.

4. Offer HiFi and LoFi Mp3s: By offering your tracks in a LoFi format, you are making your music available to a much larger audience. Many people have slow connections to the Internet, and being able to preview a track before downloading is what these people look for when browsing the site. Not all accounts support both options.
   
   
5. Newsletter Management System: Our newsletter management system allows you to create and manage a mailinglist/newsletter. With this tool, anyone can signup on your site and join your newsletter. Or, if you already have a list of email addresses and users, you can enter these into our system to get them up and rolling right away. Each person you add will get an email asking them if they want to be on your list or not. This will keep anyone from creating a SPAM list on our service. Each newsletter you send out can be archived on the site and made availabe to site visitors. You may also select to send your newsletter/emails out to specific users. All mass emails are sent as single emails - users will NOT get a huge list of emails with every newsletter.

6. Customizable Contact Form: We provide a 'basic' contact form for all members. For paying members, you'll have access to our contact form tool. This tool allows you to customize your contact form through adding questions, selecting if form fields are required, even providing options for users to select from. There's no need to know HTML to use this tool. Publishing of changes is immediate!

7. Deep Linking (external links to mp3s): Deep Linking is a term for when a person links directly to an mp3 file on a music host.

8. Artist Store: Our artist store tool is a little complicated - but you will find that it's very powerful. We have given you the ability to create store items of a selection of music related products (including recordings, DVD, and dry goods like stickers and shirts) and point to any site where you are selling these items. If you plan to sell your music yourself, you can do that from here too. If your product contains music that you are hosting on the site, you will have the opportunity to associate those songs to the recording - which will display a 'buy' icon in the song's description when it is displayed on the site. Once we add our own CD and Dry goods services, you will also have the option to create these products through our services.

9. Blog - Web Log: Blogs are different things to different people - but ultimately, they are online logs or diaries. From there the Blog concept has expanded into a collection of characteristics which make 'blogging' more fun. Our Blog Management tools give you the ability to create blog postings, format them w/ a simple html tool, organize them into your own categories - or you can add links to your blog's sidebar/gutter, and even create categories for your links and have full control over their organization. You can select to not allow people to post comments - and you'll even be able to add other site members to your 'friends list' - and provide special access to portions of your blog. Since the idea does stem from a diary, we also selected to give you a 'public' posting option, where your posted blogs would only be visible to you.

10. Sub Pages - Expandable Sites: This feature allows you to add on more pages to your artist site. When creating additional pages, you can select to either add the page as a menu item on your artist site or to leave as a 'sub page' that you can freely link to. This feature also allows you to embed additional forms of HTML and Web objects like FLASH.

11. Music Stats - With Stats Exporting: We provide you with a Stats browsing tool that allows you to view the stats for either a single track or all of your tracks at different time intervals. If you want to analyze your music stats even further - we offer a Stats Export function - simply run the stats tool with the settings you desire, then click on the export link. We export to either a text file or to an Excel spread sheet. This export option will aslo provide you with additional data that the stats tool does not display.
    
    
12. Website Stats: With this option, your account would turn on page tracking for you account pages. This will generate raw data covering the date, time, IP address, and the refferal address if it exists (the URL of the page that sent the user to your site). With this, you'll be able to export your data for your own use, or you can view some basic stats using the tools in our Member's area.

Free With Every Account:

1. Customizable Pages: The artist pages are generated with a 'standard' design with the standard colors for the site. By upgrading your account beyond the FreeWare package, you gain the ability to customize your site. You'll have full control over the colors, have the ability to add information to a 'free text' area - where you can imput your own HTML (limited to layout code - not EMBEDs or SCRIPTS or OBJECTS.

2. External Music Location Links: This feature allows you to link to your other mp3 sites - so if you have a few tracks here and a few there, then you would enter your URLs into our system. These are then displayed on your artist/group profile. This centralizes you music distribution - give 1 URL to everyone, and allow them to explore all your sites from your 'Music Locations' menu.
3. Add links to the our Search Engine: Actually, anyone can add their Websites, or other sites' that they have found that are cool which are related to our sites/artists and content. Any links which do not have anything to do w/ arts will be removed.
4. Publish News Releases: Our site has a News area which displays in realtime, your news... all User Accounts are able to publish News Reelases. When you've achieve something with your music like signing a track to a compilation or getting a gig at a huge show or releasing your newest CD - publish your news here.
5. Publish Documents/Articles: Publishing content like articles on 'how to use software synths' or 'how to master tracks with lots of low end' or even interviews with artists, etc.
6. Use The Reviews Database: The reviews database provides site visitors and members the ability to give reviews and ratings to tracks on our sites. Reviews on your songs will be linked to your songs, and reviews you've given can also be edited from within the member's area. Artists also have a 'Reviews' page to display reviews upon.

7. Instant SongApproval: The second after you've finished uploading your song, it will become both available on your artist page and shortly haver, the song will appear on homepage of our site under "New Songs."
   
   
8. Favorites Tool: This is basically a fancy Bookmark list that is tied to our site. With this tool you can easily generate and manage a list of your favorite tracks, links, artists, articles, etc - and access them from our "Favorites" button which will display at the top of the site after you have logged in.
