tHE eVIl kEn dOLl - THE ARTIST A.H.DRACHMANN

I am a Danish artist from the west coast of Jutland, which is a very windy area of D.K. I have lived here the last 3 years, before having lived and been influenced by the culture of England (or rather said the many cultures co-excisting in England). I love music - I love the way in which amature music can be so different to what is created commercially and how it is in a way like opening a present every time I play a new download.

I do a lot of painting, as you would expect and even teach a bit of art. I am also studying to become a teacher and I do a lot of volutary work . I do that mainly because I belive that we have to help our local community and the international community.

That is also why I support GNU, OPENSOURCE and CREATIVE COMMONS.

Our heritage should be our's to modify and use, nobody should be called a pirate just because they love music, art or films, as it is our's, created by us, created by our culture.

We should also release what we create in order to enrich our culture even further, if we keep it to ourselves, then that is the greatest crime of them all, as we don't give people the opportunity to be influenced by our creations.

Respect, use and recycle our cultural inheritance and it will keep on being alive and relevant.

FREE AS IN FREE BEER AND AS IN FREEDOM sleeve cd/album design/band logo. I will be for bands supporting open source/creative commons. In the spirit of opensource and to create incentive for moving over to CC Creative Commons licensing, I will be offering over a limited periode a band the chance to have its album cover/sleeve or even band logo to be designed by me. It will be free for the band to use, redesign...in short to do what ever they want with it...it just have to stay CC creative commons. It can even be used commercially. I am looking to expand my influence and start contributing more and more to the open source/creative commons community. As an artist it will be great to have my images out there and in use. That means that I will be makeing a few images for cd, album covers for open source or creative commons supporting bands. If you are a band and is all "open source or creative commons" then give me a buzz, I will choose from the sent requests, those bands that i like the most or think that my style is most suited for (i do modern, surreal, abstract stuff and realistic images/cartoons). THIS IS FREE AS IN FREE BEER AND AS IN FREEDOM - this means that the band and cover will be represented on my own site and people can play with it and adapt it to their own needs. It will be released under a share alike license - which means that you can do anything with it, just as long as what you have done with it is released under the same license.
